The Derby Midland Hotel, the world's oldest surviving railway hotel, has been welcoming guests since the first train passengers arrived more than 180 years ago. Its located opposite Derby’s main railway station and has hosted impressive guests from pioneering entrepreneurs to Queen Victoria, who stayed at the hotel whilst travelling back from Balmoral Castle in 1849.
This Grade II-listed Victorian hotel boats 102 guest rooms, each with superfast Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV and working desk. Just a 10 minute walk from the Derbyion Shopping Centre and Pride Park. Fast train connections to London, the Midlands and some charming towns of the Peak District National Park, such as Bakewell and Buxton. Guests can dine at The Brasserie Restaurant and lounge bar.
